  • Increase national recognition and prominence of Atrium Health and Wake Forest School of Medicine in key areas, including Aging and Mobility, Alzheimer's Disease, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes & Obesity, Pain & Addiction, and Regenerative Medicine.
  • Continue to enhance Charlotte's innovation district, known as the Pearl, while expanding the Innovation Quarter in Winston-Salem, connecting the two research hubs through the Innovation Corridor.
  • Directly link our Research and Clinical missions to enhance the speed and effectiveness of our clinical translation, and thus, improve the health of our patients and communities with a focus on health equity.
