Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is the only children's hospital in the state to be named one of America's Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers by Newsweek and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). In addition to covering every pediatric rehabilitation specialty and offering state-of-the-art equipment and inpatient and outpatient therapy spaces specially designed for children, Atrium Health also offers the Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP). Patient Special Needs
Atrium Health Foundation manages several funds designated to support the special needs of pediatric and adult patients across Atrium Health facilities in the Greater Charlotte region. Qualifying patients may receive support to cover expenses associated with their care, such financial assistance for medical equipment, transportation associated with medical care, and special patient support programs.
