For the first time in three years, Atrium Health Foundation will welcome friends of Atrium Health to the Levine Children’s Gala on Saturday, April 2, 2022. The annual black-tie fundraiser, which has raised over $6.5 million since its inception, will be an inspiring evening to remember as care providers, patient families, and donors celebrate the milestones and accomplishments of Levine Children’s Hospital, which is consistently ranked a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report.
Each year, the Levine Children’s Gala is made possible by the philanthropic commitments of corporate sponsors – Charlotte business leaders with a proven commitment to the healthy future of our children. Led by Presenting Sponsor PNC, we are deeply grateful to this year’s sponsors and donors who have given generously to Levine Children’s Hospital and play a vital role in improving health, elevating hope, and advancing healing – for all.
PNC
For eight consecutive years, PNC has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to Levine Children’s Hospital as the presenting sponsor of the Levine Children’s Gala and has donated over $1.1 million to Atrium Health’s pediatric patient programs. PNC is recognized as a trailblazer in philanthropy and community involvement in the Greater Charlotte region, which is why it came as no surprise when PNC led the charge as one of the first Levine Children’s Gala sponsors to donate its 2020 event sponsorship at the start of the pandemic. A driving force behind PNC’s philanthropic giving is Regional President Weston Andress (pictured below). Under his leadership, PNC has been at the forefront of community giving, supporting the arts, education, and healthcare initiatives.
Rodgers Builders
Atrium Health Foundation’s partnership with Rodgers Builders extends more than 35 years. During that time, Levine Children’s Hospital and Levine Cancer Institute have been honored beneficiaries of the construction company’s philanthropic giving. Beginning with its first gift of $1,200 to Children’s Miracle Network, the company’s lifetime support for Atrium Health totals more than $318,000. Led by President & CEO Pat Rodgers, Rodgers Builders has been a long-time supporter of Atrium Health and has served as a presenting sponsor of the Keep Pounding 5K since 2016. Rodger Builders returns this year as co-presenting sponsor of the 12th year of this community event.
Carolina Panthers, Charlotte FC, and David & Nicole Tepper Foundation
The Carolina Panthers have remained a dedicated partner of Atrium Health Foundation since first establishing the Keep Pounding Fund in 2003 to benefit adult and pediatric cancer programs at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute and Atrium Health Levine Children’s. Since that time, the fund has raised over $3.6 million to support wellness and survivorship programs, clinical research, and outreach initiatives at Atrium Health.
Leading by example, Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC owner David Tepper has demonstrated a growing commitment to the Charlotte community. His transformational giving has impacted care across Atrium Health, including funding patient programs at Levine Children’s Hospital, providing essential needs for Atrium Health caretakers throughout the pandemic, and supporting community health initiatives within the health system. This year, we welcome the Carolina Panthers, The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation, and Charlotte FC as sponsors of the Levine Children’s Gala.

Office Environments has spent nearly two decades responding generously to the needs of Atrium Health’s pediatric patients. First, as a donor to Levine Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network in 2002, and later, as a sponsor of the Levine Children’s Gala for five consecutive years.
